This travelogue grazes across sonic neighborhoods that might resemble Tbilisi, Batumi, Toronto, Havana, St. Petersburg, Ulyanovsk, Strasbourg, Marseille, Naples, Reggio Calabria, Lisbon and Barcelona. Or at least, the sound sources, the original copies, were first heard there.

What a relief to arrive at last in this new city. Your feet are restless, they take you across bridges and underneath construction sites, under the river even, where you embrace views that make you feel like you have ears all over your new body.


Most of the recordings were made in 2018-2020 with Tascam DR-05 recorder and clippy EM172 omnidirectional microphones.

it's pretty outside, laying amongst the tall grasses. 
staring up at the monochromatic sky.

T W O  |  II 

you can hear the birds songs. 
you can hear the wailing sound of the wind in the dead trees. 
you can hear the insects come out of the ground making their peaceful sounds as the sun goes down into the tree line. 

T H R E E  |  III

being. 
being, still, silent. a complete disconnect from ones self and the world around you. 
simply existing among your own thoughts. 
thinking of what haunted your every thought and action 

F O U R  |  IIII

thoughts. 
thinking of how society over romanticizes loneliness.
thinking to yourself, "how... how could one want this feeling for themselves".
feeling as you have no one, feeling lost as your own devoir.
feeling of being isolated, in your own desolate thoughts. 

F I V E  |  IIIII

your thoughts slow, go silent even while you listen to your breathing get heavier.
that melancholic sky is now black with white specs, seeing small almost star like shapes. 
every thought, feeling... Everything that made you, you slowly start to fade away. 
what was a constant downward spiral is now coming to its end, its's the end to the hell you live in.
it feels so relaxing to know for once you have control, so nice that you could silence it.
at least in the last few fading moments you know you had that one person, but now its time to say goodbye.

that shell you inhabited is gone. 
the final sixth ounce of blood is out. 
you're free; no more tears, no more of the things that made you want to rip out your own hair. 
you're gone.

This is quite possibly one of the most organic and fluent EP’s I’ve had the pleasure of releasing. I love the idea of opening up to this genre of music, feeling relaxed and imagining a place far from reality, a visual soundscape of pure emotion. Halbwome inspired me in such a way that I wanted to share his music to all our fans, in hope they feel the same way I do about this truly beautiful and unique genre of music.
