K A I P O R A  - Drip [The Gradient Perspective Premiere]

A few people had asked me if I had any tracks from when I first started producing music, so I decided to follow that rabbit hole and I was able to get into my old Looperman account, finding all the tracks that I had forgotten about. This album holds all the files that I made when I had just downloaded FLStudio. Unfortunately, these tracks are TERRIBLE, UNMIXED, UNFINISHED and can't be worked on again due to corrupted files or poor file management. Space Cadet was my first song I made. :)

Thanks bruv, means a lot. I actually started out on FL years ago. I would say the best way to learn is just to educate yourself on the basics. Read the forums, soak up knowledge. A great source is the production bible available on Dubstepforum.com.

Also, writing music requires patience and understanding. The best way to gain understanding about your synths and sound design is to just play around with them, trying different things and learning what each knob does. It won't sound very good at first but once you have a good grasp on what you are doing, you will be able to fine tune the sound and shape it how you like. I think that this can't be taught very easily though, it has to be learned and the only way to learn it is to do it, a lot.
