I felt touched by the story and how so many lives come through this earth with some mission and sometimes pass thru a lot of hard paths to reach an ultimate truth. This is an externalization of the inner emotions going thru many of us for this incident.
If they wanted to silence her they just made her louder, if they tried to make her disappear they transformed her into a solid tree.
