Making Rain (2019), was a "sound story" workshopped and performed by music students at St John the Evangelist High School, Nowra. This workshop aimed to show how “found sounds” such as newspapers, bubblewrap, body percussion and voice can contribute toward the creation of a musical soundscape - in this case, a simulation of a thunderstorm with four distinct stages: rising wind, the onset of rain, heavy downfall, and the landscape’s response afterward. 

My thanks go to Miss Abbey Baker and St John the Evangelist High School for making this workshop possible. Recorded live in June, 2019 (with electronic backing track).
