Electronic music is the last frontier of the musical game, It's only been about 30 years in the making and not everything has been hit yet. Me (Joseph Patrick Rowan), plan on making the "next best thing" in electronic music. I just feel that there is so much ground to cover and the only way to cover such ground is to experiment with all sorts of sounds. I spend about an hour or two a day just messing with VST's or Plugins on Fl Studio just to i can make that perfect sound for my listeners. I'm not even close to what i want but in due time i feel thati will do much better. I never use profanity in any of my music simply because i view recording as a whole "set in stone" type ordeal. No one wants to be remembered as a potty mouth. It also shows that you have respect for all your listeners. I am currently attending BGSU (Bowling Green State University) in Ohio and just have a simple set up in my room so i'm kind of limited right now but in due time i will get a better recording set-up. A sound born by the sea on the San Diego shore line and sharpened in the jungles of the LA underground, The Izm set's the EDM standard in eclectic versatility and is considered by many to be the lunatic fringe of dance electronica.His goal is to craft a sonic environment that nurtures human ideals (ism's) while speaking to the primal display of life that exists on the dance floor. He is best known for his works in electro house but has also gained a reputation for merging many styles of EDM into his live sets and has some notoriety in the LA dubstep community.
The IZM, aka Edward Rangel II began his musical journey as a heavy metal and punk rock guitarist playing in several local San Diego bands as a teen. He began producing electronic music at the age of 17 inspired by industrial and digital hardcore bands like Nine Inch Nails, KMFDM and ATR. During his time studying multi-track recording in college he gained the attention of the UCSD experimental music community for his early works in composition. His musical focus began to gravitate towards dance music after working in the SD club scene as a live body paint artist and event coordinator. 
He started producing EDM tracks as a ghostwriter for a number of local DJ's, composing tracks of every genre from Psy-Trance to Drum and Bass all the while bidding his time and crafting his own personal style of dance music. Once he felt he had forged a style that was uniquely his, he began a ruthless campaign of guerrilla marketing and web promotion, eventually capturing the attention of several Los Angeles area event promoters. Since that time he has toured the California coast playing his style of "Acid Electro" building his brand one dance floor at a time in hopes of siring a digital sonic revolution.The IZM
