Rooted in the underground pulse of Denver, electronic music has long served as a compass for Elie Tentori, known to most as Twopercent — but he never could've predicted his early creative outlet would grow into a space that speaks to something deeper. Shaped by years of deliberate consistency spent honing his craft, his sound is anchored in originality, balancing a raw intensity and emotional resonance that sticks with listeners long after the drop. Each release driven by feeling rather than formulas, it's this approach that's fostered a dedicated following and sets him apart within the wider bass circuit.

Twopercent's momentum has only been punctuated further by defining career moments across national festival grounds and intimate stages alike. Finding his footing where energy and emotion collide, he's cemented his position with standout performances at festivals like Lost Lands, support slots on major tours, and confidently stepping into a string of his own headline dates. Paired with releases on influential labels including Subsidia and Subcarbon, along with official cinematic remixes already under his belt, each step in his unfolding discography highlights his range of powerful production, landing with clarity and equal impact.

Intention and creative discipline stitched into every detail of his project, he continues to forge a sonic identity that reflects both personal truth and artistic longevity, steadily building the foundation for a lasting presence in the scene.

Some say the most interesting artists are the ones with the most diverse influences, those with the most of open minds. That being said, it was only natural that djElimu delve deep into the realm of musical awareness. 

djElimu began spinning records way back in 1986 when some of today’s party-goers were either: just being created or rocking diapers and baby shoes. 

Gaining inspiration from his love of vintage hip hop and electronic sounds, his early sets were eclectic and got house parties bumping along the upper east coast of the United States. As djElimu's skills grew behind the decks, so did his personal taste in music. 

Being a fan of hip hop breaks, b-boy jams and hard bass vibes, djElimu's early love for old school house music, early electronic beats, vintage industrial and ragga jungle allowed his sets to grow & really cover the diverse spectrum of music as a whole.

In the early-90’s, djElimu began to incorporate intelligent dnb & dubstep into his vast eclectic music repertoire.

Not content with just simply spinning records, djElimu began promoting events in New York City for Liquid Sky NYC & NASA (Nocturnal Audio Sensory Awakening), 
as well as the early Caffeine events in NJ/NY.

djElimu is grateful to have played at festivals and events all over the country, in San Diego, New Jersey, NYC, Vermont, Canada, Mexico and abroad.
    
djElimu has held down a residency on WJSC 90.7 FM, a pirate radio station in Johnson, VT; and has also held a residency at Power750 WAUG Raleigh, NC.

djElimu entertained packed venues and has warmed the crowds for Jersey-based wordsmiths; Arcane, CapitalX and opened for other artists such as Immortal Technique and many others. 
djElimu  recognizes many hip hop influences along the way, citing early 90s artists such as The Beastie Boys, RUN DMC, WuTang Clan and A Tribe Called Quest as favorites. 

Artists that have influenced djElimu on the early underground electronic music scene include: AK1200, Aphrodite, Brisk, Carl Cox, Carlos Soulslinger, Dee Lite, Dara, DB, Diaz Brothers, 
Dj Rap, Dj Dmitry, Emer, Felix Da Housecat, Jellybean, Joeski, Junior Vasquez, Marshall Jefferson, Micro, Moby, Pete Tong, Reid Speed, and many more.
