Christian Rhein received a cassette tape with music recorded in Club Roxy Amsterdam in 1989. He liked the music very much and listened to the tape a lot. From that moment he started to collect electronic dance music and mixing his own tapes. His setup was very simple, two tape decks a mixer and an amplifier. He recorded tracks from the radio and mixed them to one piece of music. After playing with this setup for some time he bought two turntables for mixing his music. Collecting vinyl became his passion.

Christian Rhein started djing at The Tumult, then a famous underground youth center nearby Amsterdam In 1991.
Besides DJing he also organized parties at The Tumult under the name Happy Tribe. With a series of after hours called Sounds Of The Musical Earth. At that time he mainly played Detroit Techno, Break Beats and Club House by the name of Tomba.
This dj name was given to him in the local youth centre.
He was inspired by a lot of dutch and international dj's / producers. But he was especially inspired by Derrick May, Dimitri Kneppers and dj Remy, the last two are two dutch pioneer dj's. Christian watched and listened how they pre-listened their records and matched the tempo of their music to make a dj set

He became more interested in europeanTechno music in 1994. Since that time his dj sets became more focussed on rhythm instead of strings and warm sounds. A lot of tracks he played at that time came from Germany and Italy. The Beats per minute where much faster than the Detroit Techno he played a few years earlier. Christian Rhein won the HDC dj contest in the techno category in 1999.

Christian Rhein started to play Drum & Bass with MC P-Pholl beside him In 1996. DJ Chistalclear was born. Around the same period he began mixing CHILL-OUT music for the more relaxing moments. He mixed Trip-Hop with Lounge and DUB in his sets. Later he added some more Latin sounds to his chill sessions.

At the moment he plays Dance music, House and Techno, by his own name Christian-Rhein. 
He uses the name DJChristalclear for all other music he plays in his Drum & Bass en CHILL-OUT sets.

Born in Buenos Aires, DJ – producer and label owner of "Wild Things Box Recordings", Matias started his music career in 2004 starting to producing his own tracks, released by digital labels in the whole world. making groovy sounds of techno & minimal beats.having many productions wich have been charted in the prestigious beatport's top 100.starting to playing on several clubs all around the city, feels lucky for his achievements and recognition that the public gives him in his presentations.

Known for dramatic performances as well as subtle, varied recordings, Seattle experimental rock ensemble Midday Veil combines otherworldly vocals and cosmic synths with driving, hypnotic rock grooves to produce music that rewards careful listening and defies easy categorization.

The band began in 2008 as a collaboration between Emily Pothast, a vocalist and songwriter who earned an MFA in visual art from the University of Washington before turning her attention to music, and David Golightly, a classically trained pianist whose studies in composition and electronic music included courses led by Karlheinz Stockhausen in Kuerten, Germany. In early 2009, Midday Veil's sound was catalyzed by the addition of Timm Mason, a prolific multi-instrumentalist obsessed with modular synthesis, musique concrète and Middle Eastern guitar tones. In 2011, the band added Jayson Kochan on bass, additional guitar and electronics and Sam Yoder on percussion. Rhythmic duties are currently on the shoulders of Garrett Moore, who replaced original drummer Chris Pollina in 2012, following the recording of The Current.

Midday Veil's 2010 debut studio album Eyes All Around garnered high praise from a handful of tastemakers, however the band's ecstatic improvised cassette releases Subterranean Ritual II (2011) and INTEGRATRON (2012)—recorded in an acoustically perfect wooden dome built with "extraterrestrial guidance" on a magnetic vortex in the Mojave desert—created deep ripples in the experimental underground. 

Produced by Seattle luminary Randall Dunn and featuring original artwork by Robert Beatty, Midday Veil's follow-up studio LP The Current (2013) harnesses the experimental intensity of these improvised releases with a return to the arena of songcraft. The Current found its way onto a number of year-end lists, including a mention by The Wire as one of the top 15 avant-rock albums of 2013.

The band is currently putting finishing touches on a new studio album, recorded with Randall Dunn and due out in 2015.

A strong live act, Midday Veil has toured the US regularly since 2009, notably opening for krautrock legends Faust on a Northwest tour in 2012. The band's festival appearances have included SXSW, Bumbershoot, 35 Denton, Treefort Festival, Hypnotikon Festival and LA Psych Fest.
