'Rivulets', the new album from @ajdzar on @tabularasarecords, emerged from two late-night sessions in autumn 2021 during a spontaneous outpouring of emotions.

The lead track is a dense collage of meticulously crafted sounds that fizzes with energy. The turbo-charged breaks meet chopped-up South Asian vocal stabs over warped synths.

TWO SILHOUETTES is a project written and produced by Sam Holloway, with contributions from singers including Clive Browne, Francesca Allen, Imran Rumjon, Sam Hacking, Dave Selby and Ollie Godwin, and musicians including Kev Cousins (bass), Liam Doyle (saxophone), Anna-Helena McLean (cello), Mallory Khalifa (cahon), and Lucy Newholm (flute).

Two Silhouettes is based in London. Sam grew up near Bristol then moved to South London, where he began self-producing an album or two a year. Two Silhouettes have a habit of playing in dark basements, pokey galleries and French bars.

The music is one-third live vocal/instrument recordings, one-third computer programmed sounds, and one-third music/film/audio recorder samples.
