This is my debut album as an HDM cover artist and singer. I have been training and learning and working on my artistry as a singer and as an openly gay singer my first album I call it PRIDE because these songs I hand picked to learn and cover and present them in an HDM type way whether it was changing words or adding in extra instrumentation to give these songs a feel good dance pop feel for I am an HDM artist I love pop music but more then pop music I love dance all the club banger and bops you can think of stretching from reimagining rock, R&B, pop, and even disco songs all melted into a funky fresh and enticing style that is me Tonêx (Toh-nay) a Jamaican-Irish decent gay black guy from the Bronx (the other Jenny around the block ) 😉🏳️‍🌈

This is a song that I did to relay a message to a very close person to me because sometimes they jut need to know why things are happening and can’t have no peace everytime you turn around the other person has something shady they are doing well this is why I also did this song as a Pride version cover and I just want to send a shout to K. Ok so before y’all come for me for making a cover of this song let me first tell you how much Doja Kat blew me away with this performance on the 2020 VMA’s like since that I fell in love with this bad chick and I did this song for fun as to do for like a karaoke show during Pride which is the other reason why it’s called the pride cover version and also because some lyrics have been changed to fit the pride month theme #Sharewithpride hence the album art as well plus I really love doing this song because it really stretches my range in the hip hop rap genre because we all know Tonêx is not a rapper 😂 but I can spit some rhymes every now and then and hopefully this showcase of my talents will show that enjoy everyone as much as I enjoyed making this hot cover track and remember if you like it say so 😂 😜🏳️‍🌈

Days when you were mine

Aspiring Soul R&B/EDM artist I have been singing since I was 5 and have set my whole life goal on perfecting and polishing my talents because I enjoy singing I enjoy being able to touch people’s souls and hearts through my voice my song my story and inspiring the world to hold on true to your dreams and goals no matter who you are where you came from we are all the same and we must survive together as one one world one heart one soul. Born in the heart of "Boogie down Bronx" i moved to Georgia as a kid and always felt like there was a part of me missing and then i found music. From that day on i dedicated my entire life to getting better at singing. I tried out for Chorus in school made it and fell in love with singing so much so i went through extensive vocal training and singing lessons and i didn’t stop there i practice on my own night and day listening to my favorite singers and listening to their vocal techniques and styles and thats how i found my own voice,I tried out for Allstate Chorus and passed with flying colors specializing in sight reading and intonation training. I done various music showcases Choral festivals and District Honor where  amongst the highest scoring in district included me. I have recorded and released on my own covers of my favorite songs and i tried to put myself in the forefront of the songs so that i was not just mimicking the singers but i was creating my own voice and image and style of singing and i decided that i wanted to try to fuse together R&B Soul with Dance/HDM genre of music thus Tonex was born pronounced (Toh-nay)
