I first listen to this one, many years ago, on T Bone Walker Imperial Recordings... Years later, with the original line up of "Delta Sur" in wich i sang and played guitar, (with Charlie Hauptvogel on drums, David Weinstein on bass)good ol' times... Justin Kirby who also sang, composed and played guitar in the band, showed me a beautiful version by Alan Haynes... i loved it... so for many years with "charro & Los Moonhowlers" i have the idea of make a version of it but for one reason or another it never happened... this is the first attempt

I believe that this is my first solo ever recorded - High School stage band 1969 - the toon is " One,two,three " a current pop hit at the time - check out the amazingly bad clam that the horn section hits right before my solo starts at 1:07 -whew ! --- other players on this track include - Dane Sorensen , second guitar - Randy Smith , keyboards - John Fausch , drums and Dan Hawkins , bass --- the band director was Don Buck - very progressive for his time and place .
