Txarly Brown is a graphic designer, DJ, promoter, collector, activist and, since September 2007, also presenter of Achilifunk Radio Show, his weekly rumba news show on Gladys Palmera. This Barcelonian’s work cannot be summarised in words and his exuberant enthusiasm in transmitting music infects everything he does. He has recently launched the second volume of his Achilifunk compilation, has just produced the debut albums of Impagaos and Papawa, coordinates the Catalonian Rumba Association, FORCAT, and runs the weekly Rumba Club sessions at Apolo 2, as well as travelling around Europe on a fortnightly basis playing modern rumba, which he calls Achilifunk. Having entered the music scene in the nineties as part of the Novophonic posse (with Javi P3z and Makala) -we was the man of Camping Gaz project-  and later with the electronica easy listening combo The Nairobi Trio under the label Business Class (with bear dj master Rude Taylor & Eva Lluch).
