The song “Own Code” is an expression of his life’s blueprint. He brings a touch of Caribbean influence and hip hop finesse in his voice and lyrics. Combining his experiences in his hometown St.Vincent and current residency in Toronto, he ultimately creates his very own code. 

“It's about having a moral compass and being firm in knowing who you are and what you represent,” Txnic says. “The concept is understanding your purpose and how your actions affect other people. As a man, there’s a certain responsibility to lead, protect, and look out for the people around you. I’ve grown to be that guy.”

Txnic writes, records and performs original music fusing Hip Hop with Jazz, R&B influences and storytelling lyrics expressing lived experiences perspectives. 
He started learning how to self-record music while living in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. After returning to Toronto, he has immersed himself in music production and music business - critical skills for growing as an artist.  He digitally distributed over 25 singles and his debut EP, Easier Said Than Done, from his home studio and has secured performance opportunities around Toronto, New York, and St. Vincent. Txnic continues to seek experiences and ways to elevate his artistry.
