Mati Vaira is an Argentinian DJ and producer based in Australia, with over a decade of experience in the electronic music scene. His musical journey began in his teenage years, deeply influenced by trance music — a passion that influenced the development of his signature sound.

Over time, his style evolved into a melodic journey through progressive, deep, and organic house elements, characterized by hypnotic grooves and immersive atmospheres. Known for his ability to blend genres seamlessly, his sets deliver experiences that resonate deeply with the audience.

As a producer, he has earned support from industry heavyweights such as Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Eelke Kleijn, Guy Mantzur, Mariano Mellino, DJ Ruby, Gai Barone and more.

He has performed at some of the most iconic venues in Sydney, including Carrousel, Civic Underground, and Oxford Underground, and his music has taken him to travel to places like Byron Bay, Melbourne, and Noosa Heads, solidifying his presence across Australia and beyond.

Among them are the mastery of John Digweed and Bedrock Records, the hypnotic minimalism of Richie Hawtin’s Minus, the emotional landscapes of Tale of Us and Mind Against since Life & Death/Visionquest, the forward-thinking approach of Dixon’s Innervisions, and the melodic power of Marc Romboy and Stephan Bodzin on Systematic Recordings, just to name a few among many others.
Tomas’ sets are more than just a sequence of tracks. They are carefully crafted journeys, where each transition tells part of a larger story. His style blends a wide range of house and techno, enriched with melodic elements and deep progressions, creating an atmosphere that’s immersive, hypnotic, and emotionally engaging.
