Out 8th September, the third official single from Quantic’s immensely acclaimed ‘Magnetica’ album is “La Plata”, featuring the Colombian singer Nidia Góngora.

On remix duty, Werkha – who has been heavily championed by Gilles Peterson and in-demand for tour support including Bonobo and Chet Faker – brings a feast of bass and eccentric bleeps to the tropical rhythmic heat of the Nidia Góngora-voiced “Muevelo Negro”, for a sweltering UK summertime take on this club anthem.

Jon Carroll (Mary Chapin Carpenter) on accordion, Chance McCoy (Old Crow Medicine Show) on fiddle quartet, Jesse Shultzaberger (Woodshedders) on drums, Jim Baird (Oxymora) on bass, John Mark Power on the low whistles, and yours truly on vocals and guitars.
