Universal Spark is a DJ/producer duo consisting of John Ira and Terence Fenner. The dynamic duo first met in 2010 when they were both stationed in Texas for military service. After long hours of work and training, they would spend what extra time they had talking about their one shared passion, music. These casual talks later grew into serious discussions, which then developed into project collaborations. Little did they know that this fateful meeting would create a bond that would launch them into a career in EDM. Thus, Universal Spark was formed.

At a young age, John, who grew up in the melting pot city of Los Angeles, was surrounded and influenced greatly by diverse music. His love for music started out with breakdancing, which slowly evolved into creating music and playing instruments like the piano, guitar and drums. One night, he stumbled upon some dj equipment that was left after a party. As soon as he touched the smooth vinyl turntables, he knew what he wanted to do. He wanted to be a DJ. This was further realized after he attended EDC in Los Angeles 2010. John was inspired by the vibe that the DJs emitted and desired to create EDM tracks that would give that same euphoric atmosphere.

On another side of the country, Terence, who was raised in Idaho, was a band geek in high school. He also grew up listening to different musical styles. He was largely influenced by his family, which was full of music hobbyists. Growing up playing a variety of instruments like the guitar, drums, trombone and trumpet, he wasn’t a stranger to producing music. His inspiration comes from artists such as Porter Robinson, Fedde La Grande and W&W. Terence aspires to create the same rapturous music that will exhilarate a crowd.

With these musical backgrounds, they have teamed up to bring something fresh to the EDM world. By mixing, remixing, and combining different genres like hip hop and rock with EDM, the creative minds of Universal Spark create a unique energy essential for the dance floor. Whether it is uplifting melodies, high energy dance beats, or heavy bass, Universal Spark has something for everybody to enjoy. Universal Spark is sure to have a bright future in the EDM world. 

Lindsey Stirling composes, choreographs, and directs all of her original music and videos - merging unique violin stylings and electronic dubstep beats with animated contemporary dance. Her wide array of videos are all available on her Lindseystomp YouTube channel, which rings in at over 3.6 million subscribers and has tallied over 470 million hits. Viewership is overwhelmingly enthusiastic: the ice-themed “Crystallize” at over 78 million; her fiery “Elements” at 33 million; and the silhouette-performing “Shadows” at 30 million.
