E.A. Wainwright was born in the Deep South, in the little town of Folkston, Georgia. About four miles from the Florida border and light years from anywhere else. 

From the time he was born, he had a fascination with musical instruments. A pianist as a child, he traded in the keys for a trumpet for his high school years. He grew up watching his aunts and uncles play in the marching band, and new this was something he had to do. 

His mother’s natural talent as a singer was as big an influence on this country boy as you can imagine. Between her influence at home and the hymn music of Sunday Church, music was huge part of his young life. Of course his daddy‘s working-class roots played a role in E.A.’s life too. His father – one of 12 children – taught E.A. that sometimes hunting, fishing and farming is not just a way of life, but sometimes a necessity. 

During his teenage years, E.A. started to write lyrics. By the time he was in his early 20’s, he invested money in a home recording studio. He quickly developed a passion for the composition, mixing, and mastering of recordings. He has written and recorded a generous catalog of songs. 

Growing up in the South, his writing has developed a certain kinship with the Country genre. His love for God, family, country, and people are the fabric of his writings. If you listen closely, you can hear the stillness of his black-water roots echo in the songs he writes today. But given a project or theme, he has produced many special compositions for family, friends, and businesses in any number of genres.

Skufflz is an American Drum and Bass artist residing in Cincinnati Ohio. He has been producing since late 2010. 

He is also one half of the Drum and Bass duo Sixth Vektor, and most recently is the other half of Swinlok & Skufflz.
