Written Reply (2021 Version)

The guitars and synthesizers were recorded in my room. The "bass" here is my Telecaster fed into Guitar Rig with certain sections shifted down an octave. The drum kit was taken from Roman Lesson, and the other "percussion" stuff is from Freesound. Mix done by me, as always. Proud of this one.

I feel like this song is better when played acoustically. But I like what I did with the guitars here, and the whole thing has (unsurprisingly) been another good mixing exercise. Everything was recorded in late May and mid-June 2021, except for the lead vocal which I redid on this day 10 May, 2022 (eh). One day I might re-record this with a better melody, more material written, and less noise... Anyhow...
