Samuel Carangelo, aka Low.Tales was born in italy and raised in Zurich, Switzerland. Music has always been an important matter for his family and thus for his upbringing and daily life and started to play the guitar by the year of six. He eventually noticed a strong connection between him and electronic music. Samuel decided to develop and produce his own type of Deep House and Tech-House – “Someone Like You”, with a touch of melody and organic expression which has always been a part of his education. As a bonus, there are two great and very own interpretations of “Someone Like You” of Mario Aureo and Rhadow.

Samuel Carangelo, aka Low.Tales, wurde in Italien geboren und wuchs in der Schweiz in Zürich auf. 
Er wurde in einer Familie in der Musik gefördert wurde groß und so bestimmte die Musik immer einen Teil seines Tagesablaufes. Mit sechs Jahren begann Samuel auf der Gitarre zu spielen. Im Laufe der Zeit erkannte er, dass es eine starke Verbindung zwischen ihm und der elektronischen Musik gibt. Samuel beschloss seine ganz eigene Art von Deep House und Tech-House zu produzieren – “Someone Like You”, mit einem Hauch von Melodie und organischem Ausdruck, was immer auch Teil seiner musikalischen Erziehung war. Als Bonus gibt es zwei tolle und ganz eigene Interpretationen von “Someone Like You” von Mario Aureo und Rhadow.

Saved 101 serves up a distinct reminder of the ideals that have kept Saved Records at the forefront of electronic music for so long. Immediately after the celebratory Saved 100 compilation, the imprint is once again pushing emerging and exciting talent with a dynamic 5 track EP from rising Spanish producer, Cuartero.
Starting things off on a deep house vibe, Cuartero settles into a tight workout with “The Chaser.” Balanced perfectly with crisp beats and an infectious but subtle swing, the groove jostles for position with Forrest’s addictive vocals. “Disappear” has a tougher edge; its pounding 4/4s paving the way for the old school bassline that runs throughout. It’s warehouse, ravey aesthetic injects the track with a real energy that persists throughout.
“Ajucar” starts out as heads-down, driving techno but morphs and evolves into a complex and expansive soundscape. There are plenty of elements bristling beneath the surface here, creating a track with bag loads of personality as well as club appeal. “Buttons” sees the Spaniard returning to that old school feel with a track built around a churning, relentless bassline, wonky synths and fuzzy electronics.

Mark Fanciulli returns to Saved following 2012's "Sacrifice" with a 2 track EP.

On the A side is "Presets", a track where the organ locks the groove from the very top.
As the piece progresses and the bass line comes in, the organ then develops into a longer pattern and the pads' pitch bends with a cool, trippy feel. On the break, a bright synth opens up
with processed vocals layered across it which builds atmospherically until the track drops back in.

Over on the flip is "Game Plan" which is built upon a solid percussion and a deep, rumbling bass line that evolves throughout, pulling the listener in closer. The track builds further with a fresh synth that works perfectly alongside the tight-looped vocals until the drums smash back in.
