The Whisper Through The Static Podcast.

The Whisper Through The Static podcast is a semi-serialised fiction podcast series, primarily in the genres of science-fiction, horror and drama, always dark, sometimes hopeful. Written and performed in the style of old radio plays and TV serials like The Twilight Zone, Out of the Unknown and the BBC's MR James adaptions and in particular influenced by the cosmic horror of H.P Lovecraft and other writers such as Arthur C Clarke, Phillip K Dick, HG Wells and Nigel Kneale. About Me:

I write skeletons - ideas - parts - sparks - where I was once dismayed that I couldn't resolve a song, I've come to embrace my imperfections and just put it out there in the hopes that my messy, skeletons will be fleshed out... maybe with someone else collaboratively, or by myself when inspiration eventually strikes again.

I love to listen to and create music, and as a self-taught guitarist, I have been writing songs since childhood.

Over the years I have performed for hundreds of people both as a solo act and with bands. As an acoustic solo act, I have supported bands such as Enter Shikari and Sandweaver.

In April 2014, my spine was shattered and both wrists broken when I fell backwards 30ft trying to escape my home after a neighbour set off a gas explosion. Luckily I was not paralyzed, but I was given an emergency spinal fusion and had a titanium plate inserted into the radius on my left wrist, reducing my rotation and ability to play guitar.

In July 2015, I had a second wrist operation to remove some of the scar tissue and an osteophyte on my ulna. I'm working hard at physio and hope to continue writing and playing music. I will try to draw inspiration from my experiences just as I have always done.
