Powell Lumor was born in Accra, the capital of Ghana. His interest in music began when he moved to Sweden, Gothenburg at the age of 13. In 2019, Powell was apart of the Swedish Got Talent, that maximised his popularity, but decided to quit the programme due to wanting to have control over his own music and brand. He has performed at Football arenas for over 7000 fans, and also in the Gothia Towers, to over 2000 people, etc. All in all, Powell has had numerous shows and performed for upto half a million spectators and viewers combined in his music career. Powell Lumor found an extremely great passion for music when he first came across videos of artists like the likes of Michael Jackson, Freddie Mercury, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem. Justin Bieber, 50 Cent, Skrillex, J Cole and Snoop Dogg

He became heavily influenced by the art and culture. Powell Lumor has shown his enormous potential in his meaningful, yet ecletic and vibeful music.
