Whisker, rolling in the hood
On his pimp Big Wheel
The sound of Detroit all around
Little Whisker really liked that sound

But what is this, a Commodore 64?

So it was.  Whisker, and his Commodore 64
singing 8 bit music on the corner for spare change,
dropping dimes into the juke box,
dancing to that Motown groove.

Eventually; Motown, left town ... and,
Sampling was king.  Many sad years past.
Then, a new sound rose up in the New York Boroughs.
It was down tempo, it was groove.

Whisker loved that Downtempo Groove,
but his missed his old friend;
his Commodore 64.

Whisker worked night and day
teaching the two to sing together,
but deep underground (in the UK),
a new sound called out to our hero?

Dub. Dub, Dub, DubStep.
Dub. Dub, Dub, DubStep.

In this moment, Whisker achieved enlightenment
He would take the wub wubs and syncopation
He would take the swing and the groove
He would take the arpeggio and the sid chip sound

He would take them to the internet, and give them to you!
