Alec Troniq continues his impacting Uncrufter series on IPOLY with a new improved formula - model number 2000. Fauxpas on A-side elates for a thorough spring-cleaning and teases out a positive temper for the coming season. For Kallewürsch! on B1 he picked up some cuckoo grooves by Ka.rambolage and goes berserk with em. Subsequently Mr. Troniq takes possession of the tube on B2 and haunts the place with pounding announcements.

Berlin-based Robosonic welcome the springtime with their first OFF EP.

"Worst Love" uses an anthemic sample to create a groovy dancefloor burner with tight groove.

Doctor Dru delivers a contemporary underground pop remix.

Fritz Zander from the Suol collective made a "Panorama Bar 9 am"-styled remix for the real house-heads.

And with "Thankful", Robosonic give us a 2nd original track, slightly more toolish than Worst Love.

Skarabäen (Glückskäfer) sind Abbildungen des Heiligen Pillendrehers (Scarabaeus sacer) vor allem als kleine Amulette. Der Name des Skarabäus auf ägyptisch lautet Cheper.
Die Befreiung und schnelle Vermehrung dieses Käfers im Nilschlamm nach dem Rücktritt des Nils führte zur Meinung, er entstehe ohne Fortpflanzung, weswegen er als Symbol der Schöpferkraft galt. In seiner fast runden Gestalt, in der glänzenden, goldschimmernden Farbe der Flügeldecken fand man Ähnlichkeit mit Gestalt und Glanz der Sonne, der nächsten sichtbaren Bildungsursache, und man weihte ihm eine göttliche Verehrung (z. B. als Verkörperung der Gottheit Chepre). Das Verhalten des Skarabäus, Dungkugeln vor sich her zu rollen, stellte einen Bezug zu Re und seiner Fahrt mit der Sonnenbarke über den Himmel her.
