The music of the new Austrian formation Moon51 is an alloy of singer-songwriter-tradition and innovative sound collage with ambient ambitions. The content of the songs revolve around self-discovery and self-determination of the people today, in between space a coming to an end and new beginning epoch of our culture. The lyrical text images are interwoven with atmospheric arrangements, balanced instrumentation and touching vocal phrases. The sound of Moon51 wants the listener a complex, esprit, challenging, and above all sensual and melodic listening experience.

From the hit TV shows The Voice UK, Tu sí que Vales and The X Factor, Kalon Rae is a London based singer songwriter with a unique contemporary style, fusing anthemic pop with cinematic, indie and urban influences.

His lyrics, lovingly crafted arrangements and soulful vocals combine to deliver eerily romantic stories which take you on an emotional journey.

As Music Director of the Urban Voices Collective he directed the group for the closing ceremony of London 2012 Olympic games, the Baftas 2013 and 2015, the Royal Variety Performance 2013, and the Invictus opening and closing ceremonies. He has also appeared and performed on many UK, European and US TV shows.

The long list of artists Kalon has performed with includes:  Trevor Horn, Rita Ora, Lionel Richie, George Michael, Paloma Faith, The Who, Coldplay, Muse, Take That, Gary Barlow, Guy Barker, producer David Arnold, Tim Rice, Sigma, Labrinth, Diversity, Elbow, Ray Davies, Spiritualized,  Sarah Jane Morris and many more.

Let’s turn back in the calendar. The end of 2014 is gone, the begin of 2015 as well as a new project is on. An utopic idea by drummer Matheus Jardim (BRA) and saxophonist Nikolaus Holler (AUT) seems to got kissed awake by the reality over night.
Indeed - just a few days later pianist Thilo Seevers (GER) and bassist Marijn Van de Ven (NED) are joining the band. As a part of the so-called utopic idea the international quartet has been spread over three airplanes, heading to Natal, Brasil.
The conglomerat of these four sound chamaleons, doesn’t like (musical) boarders. After a brasil tour, bigger and more intimate concerts, a band-workshop and a gig on a radio the quartet grew together to one soul, one brain, one heart and invites the audience’s imagination to a dance of emotions and all kind of energies.

The line “You better call Tyrone!” comes from the song Tyrone by Erykah Badu, after which this exceptional band from Graz is called.
