Inner Shah Recordings welcomes Italian producer Vicky Montefusco for the first time, unveiling the L’ago dell’Ego EP. Known for a prolific and diverse catalog across some of the most respected imprints in electronic music—including NEIN, Renaissance, Internasjonal, BAU_HAUS, Rare Wiri, and Science Cult—Montefusco brings his singular touch to the Berlin label.

A native of Napoli, Montefusco has long been a fixture of the European underground, blending sharp electronic frameworks with a flair for melody and drama. On L’ago dell’Ego, he presents two tracks that capture the breadth of his style while expanding Inner Shah’s own sonic landscape.

The title track, “L’ago dell’Ego”, is a dark electro cut brimming with tension and drive—an intricate machine workout charged with shadowy energy. It’s precision-built for the late hours, balancing intensity with detail.

On the flip side, “See You Sun” shines with Italo-inspired warmth and indie dance momentum, its infectious groove anchored by a recognizable motif lifted from a 1982 hit. Rather than simple nostalgia, Montefusco transforms it into something new: bright, playful, and built to resonate across generations of dancers.

With L’ago dell’Ego, Vicky Montefusco makes his Inner Shah debut, affirming his reputation as a producer who can move between dark edges and radiant hooks with equal strength.

L’ago dell’Ego EP will be available on all digital platforms this September via Inner Shah Recordings.
