"Mrak" is my contribution to the "Glitch With Friends: Compilation Vol. 1", being inspired by the "Glitch With Friends: Samples Vol. 1’" sample pack, which was released back in April, 2019.

This is an 8-track compilation produced entirely using samples from the mentioned sample pack.

The compilation features many familiar faces from 'Samples Vol. 1' as well as some newcomers, like myself. There were no instructions given for this project other than - "use only samples we created", and as a result there is a wide variety of musical styles and sensibilities on display here, illustrating the sonic range of the samples and the producers themselves.

This EP was entirely written and recorded in the cable kingdom of bleeps and bloops in the city of Sofia, Bulgaria during their tradition of Martenitsa. While Ivan Shopov was working on his project Kanatitsa with Avigeya, Valance Drakes was into a rookie year for Amek, working on the collab LP with Ivan and working on his debut album for the label (An Angel In Alliance With Falsehood).
