Since 2019’s Foundation EP release broke through, Ubblahkan have been steadily building on that success and this looks set to continue in 2022. The duo come from a wealth of DJ, promotion and clubbing experiences and consistently deliver a musical scope of club ready grooves for any dance floor. This range can be heard within their productions, confidently working from tech and disco to the deeper and even soulful sides of the electronic music spectrum. Further enforced by the disguised labels that they have released on to date, labels such as Nervous Records, Of Unsound Mind, Kinky and Seven Music. Make no mistake though, house music is very much at the centre of their sound and clearly amplified through their DJ sets and productions, its undoubtably a core part of their roots.

He has been a resident for long running London event Kinky Malinki for 25 years, is half of production duo Deeptrak, has written for Decoded Magazine, Data Transmission and Defected and has taught and mentored several up-and-coming DJs.

Grant's residency with celebrated club brand Kinky Malinki has seen him play at an astonishing 120+ clubs (past and present) around the globe, playing to dancefloors all around the UK, Ibiza, Croatia, Egypt, Singapore, UAE & many more. He also holds down a variety of other residencies including festival Summertime Live, Vivid People and meat at Dalston Superstore.

Renowned for a diverse blend of uplifting House and Disco Music with a soulful twist and energetic impact, Grant's musical blueprint perfectly embodies his character - full of vibrance, colour and expression, much like his coveted collection of captivating kicks.

A creative with a strong production ethic that has prompted impressive results for Grant with his various collaborations, with signings on Armada, Nervous, Midnight Riot, Phoenix, Quantize and many more throughout the years. DJing in his hometown of Belfast for close to 30 years, Blark AKA Blacky.  Seeing Carl Cox play at the legendary Vengeance raves in 1990s was where he first got bitten by the rave bug and hasn't looked back since. Some people say he’s actually been to more raves than Carl Cox has ;)

Alongside friend and fellow Cricky, they both started up the Cave nights in Belfast, bringing over acts like Pet Duo, Patrick DSP, Marco Bailey, Dan Ghenacia, Mark EG, James Ruskin to the city. It was through this the two started releasing music as Cave DJz, racking up almost 15 tracks to date. 

In more recent times, Blark has warmed up for some of the biggest names in techno and house played at festivals like Burning Man, Jika Jika, Life Festival, ifyouknow and AVA in Belfast. He’s also played in clubs all over Europe, including a lengthy stay in Ibiza, Griessmuehle in Berlin and Corsica Studios in London.
