EK is an Atlanta based Artist/Producer, born in Redwood City California, and raised in Dallas Texas. EK's Nicaraguan and Mexican background give him an insight into topics that most hip hop artists are not familiar with. EK produces all of his music using subtle influences that come from his diverse background.The combination of classic influences such as UGK, Eminem, Jay Z, and SPM have molded his one of a kind style into something new and original. Some of his production influences range from J.Dilla, Kanye West, J.Cole, Big KRIT, Nujabes, and Rick Ruben. Being a full time bartender has made him no stranger to the struggles of the working class. This has also greatlly influenced his lyrical content, concepts, and thirst for success. EK will continue striving to represent his culture and heritage successfully in an industry struggling with direction and identity.
