Theme for Qeshi from the Hardspeed/Capelspace albums. He's Capel's 'brother' (they're both re-constructed clones made from human hosts.)He has a complicated relationship with the past life of his human host (which is also his past, of course.) He can be very stubborn and tends to be the one to stand up for her and their friends, despite being really sweet most the time. He has a bad temper.

SOUNDSHOCK is back to conclude the FM FUNK trilogy. FM FUNK NIRVANA!! brings you 16 new tracks by 19 uniquely talented musicians, from four different continents, using an arsenal of 17 different hardware and software FM synthesizers. 

Although this release marks the end of the series, our hope is that we’ve inspired listeners and musicians enough to carry our message further, and to keep reinventing FM sounds for decades to come! "That is", in the words of Tsuyoshi Shimokura, "not a sad thing." No indeed; rather, we believe this calls for celebration: let’s get it started!

There are many ways of making music in the Chiptune scene. I'm one of those who mix old and new. But this time, I had the great pleasure to compose an album that, with its chords and melodies, entirely relied on Inphonik's RYM2612 Iconic FM Synthesizer. It's a way to remember that the greatest composers have also written some of the best pieces of video game music for the Sega Genesis.

Thanks to Mathieu Demange and his fantastic VST plug-in, I've envisioned myself composing an album filled with all the things I love. This synth cries for funk and all its sub-genres so much that in my head, FM doesn't mean Frequency Modulation, but Funk Master! I've been born with FM synth music, and there's no doubt I'll die with it...
