Been working with my live music partners (T&G) in Imperfect Product since 1993. Just now we are collaborating on a track for the Dark Outside radio project (https://www.darkoutside.co.uk/) and the basic beat in this came from a small excerpt from my good friend G that we didn't get round to using - thanks G.

Apu (Quechua) = Spirit of the Mountain

This track is inspired by a mountain hike. (&mushrooms)

The indigenous people here in the Sacred Valley of Peru call this Mountain "Apu Ch'eqta Qaqa" which means "split rock". 

The story says that the stone was split in two by a thunderbolt.

It's dawn on a very still Lake Öjesjön in mid April. Just a few days earlier the lake was completely frozen, but in the past few days Spring has well and truly come alive. In this recording we hear Canada and Grey Lag Geese, Common Cranes, Goldeneye and other wetland birds on the lake. From the trees on the shore of the lake we hear a Redwing accompanied by other woodland birds. From time to time we hear Black Grouse displaying in the distance.

Mystery

The year 2021 kicked off with a perfect snowy winter, something quite rare in the southern parts of Finland nowadays...
 I was so elated that I wrote a pair of winter songs: White Slumber Part 1 and 2. Here's the Part 2, Part 1 will be uploaded as soon as I get the mixing duties sorted. 
I tried to express some of that dreamy, almost unearthly atmosphere I get from walking in the snow covered silent landscape... I hope you enjoy my friends!
