Tyler Rae Edwards is one of The American Musical & Dramatic Academy of the Performing Arts, Center Theatre Group, and Orange County School of the Arts Alumni. Her surroundings have always inspired her to become an actress. Having gone to many different performing arts schools since she was 5, she is no stranger to the art of theatre. After receiving word about the August Wilson Monologue Competition, Tyler set forth to strive for greatness. She came out as the 3rd place winner for of LA Regional August Wilson Monologue competition beating out 12 other finalists. From there, she went onto becoming 3rd place winner of the NY National August Wilson Monologue Competition, making her the first winner to come home and represent LA for their first time in the August Wilson Experience! Tyler's journey with the competition encouraged her to push even further with her acting career. Now she is continuing to pursue her dream by majoring in theatre, television, and film. Tyler continues to raise the stakes as she enters the entertainment world one BIG step at a time.
