yulz is a DJ from Katowice, Poland, and a music enthusiast since childhood. She is a graduate of two music schools, but it was in DJing that she found a way to share her passion with others. Her selection is primarily based on hardgroove, hypnotic techno, indie dance, trance, and different forms of disco, though she strives not to limit herself to these genres. She seeks inspiration from various sources. Post-punk, synthpop, and new wave have played the most significant roles in her musical development, and she returns to these genres whenever she's not digging into the heavier side of her selection. She is a fan of synth, tribal, acid, and even cosmic sounds. Personally, she loves listening to live music, whether at concerts or DJ sets. Despite her short tenure, she has already performed at some of the noteworthy clubs on the Polish scene.

Her new mix features a blend of indie dance, space disco, dark disco, and italo disco, all inspired by otherworldly sounds that she loves.

HALTUUNOTTO 005: WHITE RABBIT

Musiikin matkaopas White Rabbit liikkuu luontevasti housen ja teknon maailmoissa. Ytimessä on hypnoottiset ja dubahtavat äänimaisemat, joiden ympärillä rytmikkäät käänteet tuovat yllätyksellisyyttä. White Rabbit ei lukkiudu mihinkään valmiiseen tyylilajiin, vaan luo omaa syvällistä tarinaansa. Osa tarinaa oli myös keväällä 2024 järjestetty Whole Treatment - Helahoito.

Mind travel, rolling journeys and deep basslines. Hypnotic and dubby soundscape is in her core, while groovy and juicy sonic interventions add flavor. White Rabbit blends deep and atmospheric cuts with subtly bouncing grooves in many shapes of house and techno. Her style is versatile and not genre-locked, yet always with a storylline as she is all about the journey. Along the way White Rabbit was cought playing a set at Whole Treatment - Helahoito in May 2024.

HALTUUNOTTO 005: WHITE RABBIT

Cpt. Barnabass slowed down his ship and looked at the colorful nebula that suddenly appeared in front of him. He was sure that this was the mysterious anomalie the old man on Terra E35 was talking about. So he started the engine of his spaceship and steered directly towards the middle of the nebula...

This set was recorded during the fith anniversary of Sternstunde at Rummels Bucht.
