Numb have always been one of the biggest influences on the UCNX sound, and when none less than the master himself, Mr. Don Gordon, challenged us to do a cover of one of his masterful 2019 return tracks, we rose. Later, after completing a DJ remix of the classic Numb track "Hole" (if you know where to look), Don wondered what a full on, "drastic" remix of an older track sounded like. And so we rose again, remixing the live version of a quintessential Numb hit.

Both tracks are available now, released with the gracious permission of Mr. Gordon. In the grand tradition of revolving vocalists for the band, we passed the mic to the indomitable Steven Archer of Stoneburner for a scorching guest vocal on the cover.

Based out of NJ/Philly, UCNX (Doug Sudia & John Monette) focus mainly on the industrial/electronic scene. Theirs is a fusion of various styles ranging from classic Electro-Industrial, Coldwave, IDM/Ambient, Noise into a collection of storming club & experimental tracks with strong vocals, an overall rock sensibility, & strong respect to the classic 90's industrial sound, without being stuck in it.
