This is a demo recording of a piece I've been working on called Might As Well Shoot Me Into The Sun.  The backstory is that for a reason that the scientific community won't divulge, Sol, our sun, is about to go and explode.  And scientifically speaking, the only way to prevent this from happening and destroying the solar system is to shoot a person into the sun to punch it in the face, thus putting the star back in its place and saving life as we know it.  As the song begins, our hero is strapped into a rocket, to be sacrificed most noble-like, seeing as he's so heartbroken at the loss of his true love that he has no reason to continue living in his mind.  And in the most heroically passive aggressive display in humanity's history, he'll take his anger and loss out on himself because he doesn't want to live, yet also will leave a legacy of being the bravest and most amazing man ever, thus reminding his former love forever that he was worth it and she threw him away like trash.  As he goes through his emotional journey, the tune reveals his mind and the steps needed to go through to be ok with the situation he finds himself in.  And there's kind of a singalong at the end because everyone should face an epic destruction with a song in their hearts.  This will be re-recorded eventually, but this is a rough presentation of how this should go.  Also it needs to become the soundtrack to a music video.
