Music is the main form of expression of Delhi based DJ, Uday Dass. Since 2006, he has played at a wide variety of events that has given him the experience to cater to all kinds of crowds. Attention to detail and flow is his style. With a focus on experimenting with new unique sounds, bold track selection and aggressive mixing skills, Uday knows how to surprise his crowd while keeping them connected with the whole vibe. He takes them on a journey of eclectic sounds and groovy basslines. His sets are more like a progressive spiritual experience than a flatline.

With ‚Illesnoise vs. Juli Holz’ we present a split-EP by two young ladies, who masterfully know their craft.

During the past years, Illesnoise has made a name for herself in the Dutch scene as an unerring DJ with a distinctive feel for flow and melody. With ‘Nova’ she now celebrates her production debut. The result emphasises the maturity, which only a schooled DJ can bring to the table, as an enveloping bass-line glides through an arrangement of harmonic synth-bells and an emotive vocal loop. On his techno-leaning remix, Oliver Koletzki ups the tempo and focuses on peak-time atmospherics.

After a teasing hiatus, we are glad to welcome back Juli Holz, who has exchanged the emotional cotton candy for an altogether darker dance-floor-aesthetic. ‘Drive’ captivates by way of deep sawtooth bass and, of course, Juli’s brilliantly distinct voice, which can be heard here in the most diverse facets. Kind of leftfield, but marvellously danceable. Lastly, Dan Caster delivers a driving remix of epic proportions. Girl Power!

Having opened and closed for artists such as Jaytech, Ben Gold, EDX, GMS, Dousk and Fabo, Uday understands well how the right progression and energy is maintained through the night.

His sound comprises of deep, dark, groovy, melodic atmospheric elements. With a super analytical and critical thinking mind, he is not only passionate but obsessed with giving attention to detail and flow. Uday focuses on experimenting with new unique sounds, bold track selection and smooth mixing skills, thereby surprising and keeping his crowd connected with the whole vibe. His sets are more of a progressive spiritual journey than a flatline, which leaves the crowd elated with positive energy.

Apart from DJing, Uday has a collective that comes together to create interactive sensory experiences that involve music, 3D projection mapping, interactive kinect visuals, light installations, glow art, graffiti etc. The idea is to stimulate different parts of people’s brains and open up their minds to feel something unexpected and new. Having travelled to many big festivals and gigs all over the world, Uday felt the need to introduce and make people experience the underground side of music in his country, India, the way it should have been done. For this purpose, Wunderground Experience was born in 2013.
