Udos Sohn. Architekt. Minimalist. Riese.

Vielleicht verwundert letzteres Attribut und wohl, es gibt solche und solche Riesen. Raue und ruhige. Mit den wenigsten möchte man sicher märchengeprägter Erfahrung nach Freundschaft schließen oder gar gemeinsam in minimalistischen Klanglandschaften schwelgen.

udosson entstammt jedoch einer bisher unentdeckt gebliebenen Familie von Riesen, welche sich nicht nur durch ausgesprochene Freundlichkeit, sondern auch durch ihr feines Gespür für Details und Klangfreuden auszeichnet. 

Seine frühen Jahre verbrachte der ruhige Riese aus dem idyllischen Vogtland damit, die natürliche Dramaturgie seiner Klangwelt zu studieren. Wenig später wagte er sich an die Königsdisziplin seines Volkes, das klangliche Sehen. Das Resultat: udosson - Klicks und Sphärik, millimetergenaue Nuancen und sensible Soundbastelei.

2007 der 1. Schritt nach Draußen. udosson veröffentlicht seine erste EP – excelsior – eine musikalische Adaptation des legendären 'Projektes Excelsior' in 6 Akten. Wir erinnern uns, Joseph Kittinger unternahm Ende der 1950er drei Fallschirmsprünge aus 30km Höhe… 

2008 erschien udossons träumerisches 'probabilities auf Digital Kunstrasen, 2009 folgten 2 exklusive Tracks auf MOMA Recordings. Im Mai 2010 erscheint nun mit „kurz unter land“ udossons langersehntes Album-Debüt auf Petite:Unique Records. 

Es wird Zeit, die Furcht vor Riesen zu überdenken …
