Andreas a amorcé sa passion pour le DJing en 1995, initiant ainsi une aventure musicale qui l'a mené à créer des mixtapes et à se produire dans la scène underground drum and bass de Philadelphie de 1997 à 2000, sous le pseudonyme "Tygre". Inspiré par les sonorités plus sombres de l'électro, de la techno et de la drum and bass, Tygre fait un retour remarqué après une pause prolongée, désireux de partager à nouveau son amour pour la musique et l'art du mix. Actuellement installé à San Francisco, Andreas se consacre également à l'étude de l'informatique.

Il tisse avec habileté des paysages sonores électro envoûtants, parfaits pour accompagner les journées ensoleillées ou pour procurer des frissons intenses.

Andreas started djing in 1995, creating mix tapes and playing drum and bass in Philadelphia's underground rave scene from 1997 to 2000 under the moniker "Tygre." Inspired by the darker sounds of electro, techno and drum and bass Tygre returns from a long hiatus to share his love for the music and art of mixing. Andreas currently resides in San Francisco and studies computer science.

A slow burner of sublime electro blended to complement sunny days and getting the chills.

"DJ Fitz (SVQ), electronic music enthusiast, specialized in Electro, Breaks and some 4x4 beats. Lover of the vinyl format, he begins to take seriously the record collection in 2010, until today. Videographer of his own sets, with the intention of showing good music and the evolution of his skills behind the mixer; proof of this is in his YouTube channel where he hosts videosets of different genres varying the DJ setup.

Interested in analog production and flirting with synthesizer machines,
in May 2024 is published his first song in the compilation "Bass Andalus" of Urban Connection label.

For this occasion, he presents a set where electro is the protagonist, with some other Acid and Breaks tracks. Recent records to delight the most loyal followers of the genre."

We proudly bring you the second instalment of En Roots presents, courtesy of the talented Ático Corp.

Ático Corp. has been closely connected with En Roots right from the start and whilst we watch his career grow, it felt only right to release this all-vinyl, electro mix as part of our very own mix series.

Alongside his close friend and gifted producer r.I.P bestia, Ático Corp. runs an exceptional spanish label called UFC records, which has released an incredible array of eps by both artists, plus some remixes by producers like Not Even Noticed and dj normal 4.

With a catalogue of productions specialising in atmospheric trance, breaks and electro, Ático Corp. is a master of blending flecks of light with the darkest of shadows.

His style is defined yet expansive, and this can be reflected through his distinguished releases, as well as his mixes that span from breaks to dnb. In this hour-long segment, Ático Corp. showcases an intelligent blend of electro from artists like Aphex Twin and Kraftwerk. 

For this mix Ático Corp. had the aim to combine his more recent purchases with ‘some classics from [his] collection’, which has been growing since 1996. Ático Corp. says when he started out as an avid collector, electro and breakbeat were fan favourites amongst the scene in southern Spain, and still are today.    

This is a skilful embroidery of contrast, from fierce and punchy to intricate and provocative. Ático Corp. creates this picture with confident marks and fearless intent.

I recorded this funky little downtempo live jam on 7/25/2024. MPC One triggering MicroFreak, TR8S, JX08, Hydrasynth, System 8, OB-E, CZ V, and Peak. Definite influences from west coast G-Funk and Kraftwerk. Enjoy.

I have followed DVS NME's podcast (@dvsnme) for some years now. This Electro music producer and dj based in Colorado has delivered a weekly podcast on Intergalactic FM called 'Dark Science Electro' since 2010. This is also the name of the blog he daily feeds : https://www.facebook.com/DarkScienceElectro. 2018 was the right time for a 716 Mix, which is actually more like a 716 Playlist of the coolest and freshest electro tracks released lately.
