R.I.P. Bestia, co-founder along with Ático Corp. of the UFC label, is back with his third Ep and the label's sixth release. A risky work but at the same time motivating when it comes to seeking the fusion of ancestral sounds and avant-garde electronic.

On side A we find Ancient Subatomic Voyage (Original Trance Mix), a track that mixes the influences of Psychedelic Trance from the early 90s with the strength of current Progressive Techno to immerse you in an astral journey. On the same side you will find SubQuantum Levitation (Original Mix), a levitating projection driven by the force of emotional hardcore that will elevate your body and mind to an orbit of unknown origin.

On the other flip, we are proud to have a visionary of originality such as Henry Saiz, who presents us with his remix of Ancient Subatomic Voyage (GOA Remix), a true acid and tribal odyssey accompanied by euphoric psychedelic melodies that will take you to a transcendental state of horizontal dance.

UFC presents 'Cybernetic Implant', its seventh release, an EP where electro and cyberpunk go hand in hand with hardware equipment for a trip to an unpromising future.

The Ep consists six tracks, three originals mixes produced by Ático Corp. and three remixes by producers Hd Substance, 7053M4R14  and Robot City.

In the three original tracks we find three different visions of electro where broken and sharp rhythms are mixed with bursts of synthesizers, atmospheres and samples that refer directly to less optimistic science fiction. On the other side we have the three remixes where each artist contributes their particular vision by reimagining the tracks in their studios directly from their hardware gear. Synthesizers, drum machines and hardware effects are once again invited to the journey. Welcome this time not to a credible future, but to a dystopian future.

In 1997 a CD compilation called Calambre Techno was released in Spain which included a track called Utopia. Its producers were two Spanish brothers who had been making electronic music since 1991 under the name INTRO. The track of the compilation was a remix of the original included in the Ep Intro – @Utopia from 1994. @UtopiaRemix is a simple but perfect Techno-Trance anthem, Retro-Psychedelic but futuristic, one of those timeless tracks that always sound original despite its 30 years. Now UFC is proud to re-issue this techno-trance gem on vinyl as its eighth release accompanied by remixes from current producers of different visions.

About the remixes; The duo The MFA give us their ’94 On The Floor Remix’, a perfect “hit” to hear at dawn where they perfectly combine IDM, Indie-House and Experimentalism. Spanish producer Promising/Youngster presents ‘Electric Shock Remix’, a titanic version of the original remix where powerful Electro rhythms collide with Experimental and Futuristic IDM.

In the case of Brassica we left the way free to experiment with the original remix and he gives us his ‘Psytalo Remix’, a perfect fusion of Techno, Breaks and Psychedelia, originality in its purest form as this producer has accustomed us to in all his productions. To close the Ep, we find ‘FutureCosmicalAscension Mix’ by R.I.P. Bestia, truly a different version that is difficult to include in a specific style where the main melody is progressively guided towards a state of euphoria.

[UFC08] Intro - Utopia (Original 1994 & Remixes 2024)

Three, two, one, go! UFC /Un Futuro Creíble/ presents its ninth release, Anti-Gravity. A small tribute to WipEout's first games released on the original PlayStation and other platforms. WipEout wasn't just about thrilling anti-gravity racing games, it was also about electronic music (ColdStorage, Orbital, The Future Sound of London, etc.) and aesthetics (The Designers Republic). All together, they formed a unique product that brought the future, raves, and club music to many homes in the 90s and left a lasting impression on many like us. AT2052 and AT2097 are two tracks inspired by all of this, which they hope could have been part of the soundtrack for one of the games.

UFC is proud to presents R.I.P. Bestiaʼs second outing on the label. Starting out with “Resurgence of Rave Echoes” R.I.P. Bestia delivers an influenced rave breakbeat track with chopped vocals, big bass, acid and piano raves that take you to a new future rave dimension. “Anarchic Alien Fuel” takes over a trance breakbeat influenced with a heavy ambient pad and cyberdelic vocals. Finally “Extraterrestrial Shamanic Ceremonial Rite” rounds up the EP with a tribal and breaks drums, epic synths, an hypnotic vocals that will keep you in the shamanic rite going from start to finish.

To close this side we have AT61, an electrobreak with trance sounds track. In the other side AT55 opens the record with an euphoric breakbeat track and another remix of the same track by R.I.P. Simulación Ep is the name where you will find four cuts with breaks, electro and trance grooves in an always cyberdelic way. On the A side you have two versions of the same track, AT68. First original version with electro style and big bass leading the track and a second version remixed by german duo Not Even Noticed with a trance vibe oriented remix.

On the flip side, AT70 explores a more upfront breakbeat groove, with big drums, big pads and dreamy melodies. To close the Ep we have AT69, which provides a more trance-breakbeat track with some piano riffs and a lush bass.

GunJ (Bcn) "Influenced by Hip Hop in his adolescence, grew up buying vinyl and playing this format. In the mid/late 90's he listened to the Trip Hop and Big Beat of the time and got into Electronic Music. Since then his mixes are always eclectic where he can play Electro, Breaks and Techno. "Omega III is a DJ, Graffiti Writer and very occasional Producer who works for the influential Underground Dance label Klasse Wrecks, who host his monthly mix show, the Nevill Street Catacombs. Kodem!!! He has been a member and resident at Club Prisma (SVQ) for over four years and has been part of collectives like Kursaal.

A los platos desde 1998 pasando por la mayoría de salas de Barcelona que programan house y techno de calidad desde entonces. Propietario de los sellos End Of Dayz y de la tienda y sello Rhythm Control Barcelona es una figura clave en la escena de Barcelona. Sus servicios son demandados por djs internacionales que pasan por la ciudad. Desde hace unos 4 años está explorando su faceta como productor y acaba de publicar su primer EP en solitario titulado "Aura" en el sello de Ben Sims Hardgroove.

Pese a que es conocido por sus sets de house, techno e incluso electro o disco, desde hace unos años empieza a recolectar 12" de jungle, sobretodo provenientes de su tienda llegando a realizar un set de jungle por primera vez hace un par de veranos en Human Razzamatazz haciendo un warm up a Coco Bryce. La ocasión lo merecía y para este mix ha vuelto a desempolvar la colección.

"Krobel (SVQ). Influenced by 90s Dance and Hardcore music, he began to take an interest in broken rhythms such as BreakBeat and Electro around 1997, and as a result, he started his DJ career a couple of years later.

Throughout his career, he has shared the booth with several of the most important DJs in the Andalusian scene, also taking part in various bookings and organizations. Not to mention, he has hosted more than one radio show on different stations, always offering musical variety and showcasing his mixing skills to connect with the audience.

A versatile DJ and music collector in all formats, he always tries to stay up to date with the latest releases and styles.
He is currently working with the music label Warriors Beat Return, where he manages and also collaborates with several producers who continue to delight us with their great music."

Three, two, one, go! 
UFC /Un Futuro Creíble/ presents its ninth release, Anti-Gravity. A small tribute to WipEout's first games released on the original PlayStation and other platforms. WipEout wasn't just about thrilling anti-gravity racing games, it was also about electronic music (ColdStorage, Orbital, The Future Sound of London, etc.) and aesthetics (The Designers Republic). All together, they formed a unique product that brought the future, raves, and club music to many homes in the 90s and left a lasting impression on many like us. AT2052 and AT2097 are two tracks inspired by all of this, which they hope could have been part of the soundtrack of the games.

"Growing up immersed in the sounds and cultural symbols of the 80s and 90s, Atari Stacey was naturally drawn to all things analog. 

Her love of vinyl began early and over the years her collection has grown to include everything from acid jazz to j-pop.  

Unable to confine herself to a single genre, her sets are thematic explorations of ideas, concepts, colours, and emotions, where she brings her love of paper collage into the sonic realm, layering sounds, styles, and rhythms to create experimental poetry by computer.

This mix was inspired by the two opposing yet complementary forces of air and water. 

Flowing through ambient textures, liquid grooves, and celestial melodies, it captures the haze of late summer melancholy and a longing for distant shores, perhaps even those of another world".

“Known to his friends as Xuki, Atmotic has been a DJ and record collector since 1998. The first cassettes he bought as a kid, by artists such as Vangelis, Jarre, and Enigma, shaped his musical taste to this day, with ambient electronica still remaining one of his favorite styles. However, he is quite versatile and owns an extensive vinyl collection of over 3,000 releases covering a wide range of musical genres.

The first labels he became obsessed with were Rephlex, Warp, and GPR, featuring artists such as μ-Ziq (Mike Paradinas), AFX, The 7th Plain, and B12, among many others. In his view, the essence of electronic music hasn’t changed that much, you can still clearly identify the influence in the work of new artists. What has changed is the accessibility and the tools available to produce music, resulting in bigger number of artists to discover, though not always with the same level of quality. 

Moreover, he believes that mainstream artists from 20, 30, or even 40 years ago were often far better than many of today’s, where social media and marketing are often more important than the music itself;  this is particularly applicable to some of today’s DJs”.
