During several visits Alex from the SoulBrigada guys was diggin' through countless record stores and flea markets to capture the special vibe of Lisbon. Andrea Benini African Mix

I haven't done a serious mix in a while and somehow it ended up being a blend of melancholy blues, swing and heaps of tropical courtesy of some of my favourite producers at the moment. 

The last time I did a mix I was still using vinyl so I wanted to experiment with sorting one out entirely digitally. It's not as easy as it should be...mostly just difficult keeping the quality up after having had to rerecord MP3s at altered tempos for the mixes. If any of the artists featured in the mix feel like sending me full wavs or aifs of their tunes then I'd be delighted to slot them back in at higher quality. Here's the tracklist.
