'Love You More [edit]' is taken from the forthcoming album: Nathan Haines - Notes (Deluxe Edition), featuring remixes, edits & live recordings alongside the tracks that originally appeared on the 2024 album Notes.

'Love You More' has a classic deep house sound, with Nathan's signature soprano sax recorded in one single take. The tack was co-witten by Nathan's long time collaborator Phil Asher, who tragically passed away in 2021.

He  was so alive and so ‘there’ as a person…it took me a few weeks to really grasp he wasn’t part of  this world anymore. The eastern Canadian imprint returns to Japan with their 23rd instalment. 'Fall' is a collaborative EP from Tokyo-based producers Yoshi Horino, M-Scape and Werner Niedermeier, featuring rhythmic 2-step percussion, growling deep basslines, and ethereal synths with swinging vocals. Classic Japanese deep house business from one side of the pond to the other.

I started work on this in 2010, which makes the gestation of this a record (for me, for now) 7 (seven) years (this amuses me given my last release took 30 minutes). An earlier version appeared on 2011's MANGA MUSIC mixtape, which was commissioned by Manga Entertainment to mark their 20th anniversary. This final March 2017 deadline, however, was enforced by the release of The Hollywood LIve Action Movie, so whether or not its any good, I am thankful to it for that at least.
