"First Bass is just another wannabe producer and songwriter, starting out without a clue about the music industry, thinking he's got something to offer. The real pity is, this fool is nearly 50 years old!"

Well from my yoot days, growing up in Moss Side, Manchester in the 60s, there's been music in my head; floating around - kinda like 'sound clouds', actually. I'm only just finding the means, the opportunity and the confidence to express it now.

Yeah I love bass. That comes from the 'SounSystims', Blues dances, Shebeens and my dad's parties - as a toddler and upwards. I'm currently 'genre independent', being interested in any style that makes you wanna get up and move (though that might settle once I find my unique trademark).

I took time off work, and spent the last month learning and practicing the crafts, preparing weapons, drawing war paint (not easy when I can't keep a straight face writing this sh!t).

My ultimate dream is to generate a modest but intensely appreciative and loyal following. Then gradually extend it beyond my family and friends.

Now that would be cool.
