This 80s inspired synthwave-y track is like a RETRO-fest, every track except the kick and snare has some RETRO on it.

The lead synth switches from reverb 81 to reverb 89 at the drop giving a lovely change in character.

The vocal has a chain of RETROs on it, giving it width and swirl at points and this is automated between sections switching from a more reverbed and delayed sound to a more focused distortion/preamp based preset.

The tom roll and incidental synth parts have RETRO on them to add character making them sound less pristine.

And of course, the master track has the plugin automated at the start and end as an intro and outro effect.

Music is something that has always been ingrained in Tom Webb since a very early age. He feels at one with himself when creating an atmosphere for the masses to absorb and appreciate.

Born and raised in Essex with a mixed background of British and Jamaican, Tom has progressed through many genres of music from Garage to Hip-Hop, through to Electronic Music. Always keen to experiment and open his mind to other realms of musical possibilities, Tom spent two full summers on the white isle of Ibiza in 2009 and 2010, where he played at an array of parties including none other than The Zoo Project. 

On his return to the UK, Tom gained a residency at London's well renowned Sunday party also known as Creche. This allowed Tom to develop his style and showcase his talents at the Queen of Hoxton, Brickhouse and Ministry Of Sound, to name a few. Tom's love for vinyl as well as digital mediums, means that he is able to cross platforms between both old and new music seamlessly. 

January 2013 saw Tom release his first collaboration with the talented Sam Russo on Matt Tolfrey's Label Leftroom, and a recent collaboration with Swedish born XYK has seen its release on Clubstream Orange.

Since relocating to undertake and graduate from his Music Production Degree, Tom now resides in Brighton where he is focusing on working hard in the studio to produce a sound that encapsulates and reflects his rich musical foundations.

Over the past twenty years, MICCA has taken an exciting journey through the world of electronic music under various pseudonyms. His passion began in the dark, pulsating warehouse nights of the 90s, when he absorbed the first beats of acid house and rave music. 

Today, Micca does not define himself by a particular sound and loves to combine different styles into a new whole.This includes elements of house, techno, electro, retro and italo disco or even beats & breaks. The excitement of his sets comes from the transitions between genres and subgenres, and he often plays with the deliberate contrast between new and old tunes while DJing. 

When he doesn't have vinyl with him, it feels like something is missing. Playing records creates a special vibe for him: no sync-button helps - you give up some of the control.
