Finisher RETRO - The Vibe By Lars Soederberg

One cannot have too many Finisher RETROs in a session! It’s been used on a lot of tracks actually:
The Snare Ambience got treated with the “Reverb 81” mode, on the Percussion & Crash Cymbals Solo used “Dual Ring Modulator” and in the B section Percussion some “Reverb 74”.
 
The Synth Chords (throughout the whole track) got “Reverb 74” & “Double Tracker”, while the Synth Chords in the B section got “Duovibe” & “Meltroniser”.
 
It’s so much RETRO, please just read along:

Finisher RETRO - Sunny Side Up By Solo Major

This 80s inspired synthwave-y track is like a RETRO-fest, every track except the kick and snare has some RETRO on it.

The lead synth switches from reverb 81 to reverb 89 at the drop giving a lovely change in character.

The vocal has a chain of RETROs on it, giving it width and swirl at points and this is automated between sections switching from a more reverbed and delayed sound to a more focused distortion/preamp based preset.

The tom roll and incidental synth parts have RETRO on them to add character making them sound less pristine.

And of course, the master track has the plugin automated at the start and end as an intro and outro effect.

In this electronic, feel-good LoFi track, we used a lot of RETRO: 

On both the intro and outro fade In/Out we used the mode “Vinyl History”(Release Date 1958), the Synth Pad has “Few Bits Delay” (Preset Retrofy) on it.  The Keys got “MIDI Lipstick” (Preset Cool-Aid) and the Drums “Suitcase Panner” (Preset Hats around the Head) on them. The Bass is coming with some “Subharmonics” (Preset Low End Theory), Percussion with “Vinyl History” (Release Date 1958) and last but not least the Vocals with some good old “Reverb 74”.
