Ólafur Arnalds is a BAFTA-winning multi-instrumentalist and producer from Mosfellsbær, Iceland. Ólafur Arnalds mixes strings and piano with loops and beats crossing over from ambient/electronic to pop.

George Winston grew up mainly in Montana, and also spent his later formative years in Mississippi and Florida. During this time, his favorite music was instrumental rock and instrumental R&B, including Floyd Cramer, the Ventures, Booker T & The MG’s, Jimmy Smith, and many more. Inspired by R&B, jazz, Blues and rock (especially the Doors), George began playing organ in 1967. In 1971 he switched to the acoustic piano after hearing recordings from the 1920s and the 1930s by the legendary stride pianists Thomas “Fats” Waller and the late Teddy Wilson. In addition to working on stride piano, he also at this time came up with his own style of melodic instrumental music on solo piano, called folk piano. 

Since 1972 George has released thirteen solo piano albums: AUTUMN (1980), WINTER INTO SPRING (1982), DECEMBER (1982), SUMMER (1991), FOREST (1994), LINUS & LUCY-THE MUSIC OF VINCE GUARALDI (1996), PLAINS (1999), which was inspired by his Eastern Montana upbringing, NIGHT DIVIDES THE DAY - THE MUSIC OF THE DOORS (2002), MONTANA-A LOVE STORY (2004) and GULF COAST BLUES & IMPRESSIONS-A HURRICANE RELIEF BENEFIT (2006). His most recent recording are LOVE WILL COME - THE MUSIC OF VINCE GUARALDI VOL 2 (2010), and GULF COAST BLUES & IMPRESSIONS 2-A LOUISIANA WETLANDS BENEFIT (2012).
In 2001 George released REMEMBRANCE - A MEMORIAL BENEFIT, a seven song EP of piano, guitar and harmonica solos, to benefit those affected by 9/11.  He has also worked with the late George Levenson of Informed Democracy (www.informeddemocracy.com) on three projects: a solo guitar soundtrack for SADAKO AND THE THOUSAND PAPER CRANES, and soundtracks of piano, guitar and, harmonica solos for PUMPKIN CIRCLE, and BREAD COMES TO LIFE. In addition, he has recorded the solo piano soundtrack for the children’s story THE VELVETEEN RABBIT for Rabbit Ears Productions. 	

George is presently concentrating mainly on live performances, and most of the time he is touring playing solo piano concerts (the Summer Show or the Winter Show), solo guitar concerts, solo harmonica concerts, and solo piano dances (with R&B and slow dance songs). 

He is currently most inspired by the great New Orleans R&B pianists Henry Butler, James Booker, Professor Longhair, Dr. John, and Jon Cleary, and he is also working on interpreting pieces on solo piano by his favorite composers, including Vince Guaraldi, Professor Longhair, and the Doors, as well as Sam Cooke, Dr. John, Allen Toussaint, Randy Newman, Curtis Mayfield, Laura Nyro, Al Kooper, Jimmy Wisner, Arthur Lee, Frank Zappa, Ralph Towner, Rahsaan Roland Kirk, John Coltrane, Milt Jackson, John Hartford, Oliver Schroer, Taj Mahal, Henry Butler, James Booker, Jon Cleary, Philip Aaberg and others, to play at concerts, and at his solo piano dances.

George is also working on solo guitar and is recording the masters of the Hawaiian Slack Key guitar for an extensive series of albums for Dancing Cat Records (www.dancingcat.com). Slack Key is the name for the beautiful solo fingerstyle guitar tradition, unique to Hawaii, which began in the early 1800s and predated the steel guitar by over half a century. 

He is also recording his main inspirations for his harmonica playing: Sam Hinton, Rick Epping, and Curt Bouterse.

Suaracerita adalah proyek kolaborasi yang diinisiasi antara penulis dan dokter gigi, Kurniawan Gunadi dan Alfina Subiantoro. Sebuah sinergi antara dua kota, Yogyakarta dan Medan. Sebagian isi suaracerita juga dimuat dalam buku Hujan Matahari karya Kurniawan Gunadi.

Alfina, dengan nama lengkap Alfina Subiantoro saat ini sedang sibuk dengan aktifikas co-ass nya sebagai calon dokter gigi di Medan, Sumatera Utara. Dan Kurniawan Gunadi adalah seorang penulis dan desainer produk, sekarang berdomisili di Yogyakarta dan sedang mengembangkan studio barunya yang bernama Langitlangit.

Suaracerita lahir pada Februari 2014. Suaracerita bukanlah musikalisasi puisi, suaracerita adalah upaya untuk membahasan kata-kata dengan suara, seperti membaca sebuah cerita. Dimana kita semua bisa duduk manis mendengarkan dan pelan-pelan menangkap maknanya. Saat ini, suaracerita juga merambah ke dunia musik dengan lagu berjudul Langit-langit sebagai lagu perdana. Diciptakan liriknya oleh Kurniawan Gunadi, dibuatkan musiknya oleh Mutia Prawitasari, dan dinyanyikan oleh Nia dan Mafi.

Suaracerita akan tetap mengudara dengan terus melakukan perbaikan pada banyak hal. Baik kualitas naskah, kualitas rekaman, dan lain-lain.

Proyek suaracerita sampai saat inidijalankan dengan komunikasi maya. Dilakukan disela-sela aktivitas masing-masing yang padat. Kami menerima masukan, usulan cerita yang akan diangkat dari blog, sumbangan backsound, maupun kritikan :)

Kurniawan Gunadi bekerja sebagai pencerita dalam suaracerita. Dia adalah seorang lulusan desain produk (FSRD) dari kampus gajah ITB. Saat ini Kurniawan Gunadi sedang hijrah ke kota kecil di Kandangan, Temanggung, Jawa Tengah untuk melanjutkan belajar non-formal di studio www.magno-design.com dan mempersiapkan diri untuk studi lanjutannya. Meski latarbelakangnya adalah seni rupa, dunia menulis justru lebih banyak menyita waktunya. Beberapa tulisannya pernah menghiasi media cetak. Saat ini Kurniawan Gunadi sedang fokus pada pengembangan karya baik desain maupun tulisan dan sedang menggarap buku pertamanya yang tidak kunjung selesai. Mari doakan.

Alfina Subiantoro bertindak sebagai penyuara dalam suaracerita. Dia sesungguhnya berasal dari Tangerang, migrasi untuk menuntut ilmu ke Kota Medan-Sumatera Utara. Lulusan Fakultas Kedokteran Gigi - USU ini sedang disibukan dengan aktivitasnya mencari pasien (baca :koas). Selain itu, Alfina juga berprofesi sebagai penyiar radio di StarFM Medan. Bagi para pendengar StarFM Medan tentu tidak asing dengan suara Alfina. Mari doakan semoga koasnya lancar.

Perlu dipercaya bahwa kedua orang ini sama sekali belum pernah bertemu di dunia nyata. Keduanya bertemu di dunia maya. Aneh kan? Proyek suaracerita dijalankan dengan komunikasi maya. Winner of the Queen Elisabeth (2009) and Yehudi Menuhin Competitions (2008), Ray Chen is among the most compelling young violinists today.   “Ray has proven himself to be a very pure musician with great qualities such as a beautiful youthful tone, vitality and lightness.   He has all the skills of a truly musical interpreter,” said the great Maxim Vengerov.
Ray has released two critically acclaimed albums on Sony: a recital program “Virtuoso” of works by Bach, Tartini, Franck, and Wieniawski, and the Mendelssohn and Tchaikovsky concertos with Swedish Radio Orchestra and Daniel Harding.   Following the success of these recordings, Ray was profiled by The Strad and Gramophone magazines as “the one to watch”.   “Virtuoso” was distinguished with the prestigious ECHO Klassik award.   He is currently working on his third, all-Mozart album with Christoph Eschenbach and the Schleswig-Holstein Festival Orchestra, slated for release later this year.
Ray continues to win the admiration of fans and fellow musicians worldwide.   In 2012, he became the youngest soloist ever to perform in the televised Nobel Prize Concert for the Nobel Laureates and the Swedish Royal Family.   His Carnegie Hall debut with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic and Sakari Oramo, as well as his sold-out Musikverein concert with the Gewandhaus Orchestra and Riccardo Chailly were met with standing ovations.   Since the 2012- 13 season, Ray has been invited to join Konzerthaus Dortmund's series “Junge Wilde,” which presents young and groundbreaking artists in Germany.   Later this season, Ray will make his San Francisco recital debut at the SF Jazz Center. He also looks forward to his upcoming recital tour of Australia and his debuts with the Orchestre National de France and the London Philharmonic Orchestra.
Followed by over 500,000 people on SoundCloud, Ray Chen looks to expand the classical music audience by increasing its appeal to the young generation via all available social media platforms.   He is the first ever classical musician to be invited to write a regular blog about his life as a touring soloist for the largest Italian publishing house, RCS Rizzoli (Corriere della Sera, Gazzetta dello Sport, Max).   In his unstinting efforts to break down barriers between classical music, fashion and pop culture, he is supported by Giorgio Armani and was recently featured in Vogue magazine.
Born in Taiwan and raised in Australia, Ray was accepted to the Curtis Institute of Music at age 15, where he studied with Aaron Rosand and was supported by Young Concert Artists.   He plays the 1702 "Lord Newlands" Stradivarius violin on loan from the Nippon Music Foundation.
