In 2024 the Amity project was born. Created by two notably dynamic Australian producers Joseph Mattei and Christian Kamitsis, the duo’s compelling hues of Afro House, Melodic House, Techno and Indie Dance have proven an impressive influence globally. Having both set the bar independently in Melbourne and beyond, the pair behind Amity have taken their solo success and embraced their time on the stage and in the studio, creating a signature sound that is alluring and club ready. Think Tal Fussman, Dixon, Solomun, Adriatique, Ame and Ivory (IT)... it paints an impeccable picture of the sonic space Amity resides in.

With a thriving track record already, Amity have graced sold out shows and given dance floor devotees a taste of their house and techno fusion, having played alongside the likes of Sam Shure and Tim Engelhardt, while commanding attention from the masses at Melbourne’s renowned Revolver, Electric and Glamorama. The duo are also directors and promoters in Melbourne, running some of the most monumental events in the city under the brand  Nu.Techno.

2024 is off to an astounding start for Amity, with a string of releases concreted into the schedule across Berlin’s Deep Tales, Beatfreak (Spain) and Australia’s Ugenius, while the presence in the console is gearing up for a first-class run of seasons ahead.

Steve Bleas has been a prominent figure in Australia’s electronic music scene for over two decades. His dedication to his craft has seen him become one of Melbourne’s most sought after and praised DJ/producers.

Steves ability to construct extended sets into remarkable auditory journeys has seen him consistently grace the decks of some of Melbourne/Australia’s most iconic nightclubs, leaving an indelible mark with his exceptional talent. Steves musical prowess has allowed him to command the stage at renowned festivals across Melbourne, including Rainbow Serpent, BTV, Pitch, Paradigm, Defqon and The Resistance Stage of Ultra Music Festival, establishing himself as a true festival veteran.

Renowned for his cheeky edits and bootlegs, one his most sought-after creations, his iconic "Psycho Killer" edit consistently being played across Melbourne's dancefloors. If there's a bootleg that's making waves, you can safely assume it’s Steve creation.

Steve's musical prowess extends beyond the DJ booth, as his production endeavours have garnered global recognition. Comprised of solo-releases, remixes, projects and collaborations, we’d rather refer to his discography. As those references would just distract from what truly matters – the music this guy is delivering.

His recent releases are characterized by a captivating melodic essence intertwined with driving bass lines that captivate listeners worldwide. From multiple plays on BBC Radio 1 to making it on an Essential Mix - Getting songs played at Tomorrowland and festivals worldwide to being signed to huge local and European labels such as Recovery Collective, Ugenius & Reflector to Complexed, Lost On You, SIZE and ULTRA.

Steve is also a visionary in event curation, hosting numerous sold-out parties and being one of the main partners behind the brand ‘NU TECHNO’.

Diverse and alluring music from the underground is what drives Australian producer and DJ Joe Mattei’s career, having bred his long standing legacy from the studio to the stage. Setting a relentless bar in the progressive, Afro house, melodic techno and indie-dance spaces, Joe has polished his signature with sheer eloquence, embracing the inspiring tones of Solomun, Adriatique, Tal Fussman, Adana Twins, Tale of Us and more, while releasing on the likes of Recovery Collective and Ugenius labels.

Joe’s music has attracted a barrage of global support, seeing multiple Beatport Top 100 spots and a #1 rank in the overall melodic techno chart, further attracting plays from Keinemusik, Carlita and more. Raised around a plethora of well adorned, alluring electronic music styles, Joe has commanded attention from enthusiasts worldwide, bringing in elements of his true musical visions and inspirations. Recent 2023 EP release of ‘Onus’ with Rafael Cerato on Recovery Collective has kicked off a new club-ready season of music, with another anticipated EP to close out the year on Ugenius.

Outside of the studio, Joe has spearheaded an iconic resume of shows at some of the country’s tastemaker clubs, festivals and events, giving dance-floor devotees a proper dose. From Melbourne’s onesixone and Revolver to shows across the country supporting a string of international artists, Joe has dotted the map, playing on bills alongside Carl Cox, Monkey Safari, Bebetta, Matthias Mayer and more. As a co-partner in Melbourne based collective Nu Techno, Joe is well seasoned in the event landscape, also curating programs across the city and bringing a refined taste to electronic music in Australia.
