Here's my new track on a cheeky festive remix tip, done for the charity RemixEverything label in support of Crisis:

After the astounding success of the biggest RemixEverything compilation to date, we thought we would give our artists a healthy dose of festive fun: REMIXEVERYTHING CHRISTMAS!

You can never have too many Christmas remixes, so here's over 20 more to add to your collections across the entirety of the rave spectrum, including traditional Christmas carols, festive pop favourites, and some film-themed original tracks to dance around your tree to.

As always all the proceeds from RemixEverything releases go directly to supporting good causes, and we pride ourselves on being transparent about how the money gets used. You are free to pay whatever you want for this album, but all proceeds from this compilation will go to CRISIS - this albums charity nominated by the artists involved.

All of us need a decent home – to be healthy and to thrive. Currently though, this basic human need isn’t being met for so many people across the UK. This is unacceptable. At Crisis they work side by side with thousands of people each year as they find ways out of homelessness. They provide practical support to help people access benefits, healthcare services, employment opportunities, and more. Crisis' main aim is to relieve the huge pressure of homelessness, by helping people find safe and affordable homes as quickly as possible. Dave Skywalker has always been into electronic music. By 1986, at the age of 8 he was listening to US house music, having purchased his first record - Steve Silk Hurleys "Jack Your Body" - and was already annoying his neighbours with that "boom boom boom" music.

Playing at house parties from 1994 and in clubs from 1997, Dave Skywalker travels all over the country, across Europe, the USA and Canada, and predominately plays high energy, multi-genre rave sets spanning techno & breakbeat to breakcore and gabber.

Dave was nominated in the 2006 Old Skool Awards as best up and coming DJ and also at the 2006 Musik4You awards for best new producer, and in 2010 he was nominated in the Nu Rave awards under various categories, ending up runner-up for best DJ and best producer, and winning the award for best radio show. He now plays weekly on Kniteforce Radio and has been a staple of Breakpirates since 2003. Involved in numerous labels, he's managed Endor Recordings since 2010.

While remaining Bang Face's resident DJ since 2006, Dave has played at the old skool legendary raves such as Fantazia, Dreamscape, and Raindance, and the newest emerging rave nights coming from the likes of London, Bristol and Sheffield. His energy behind the decks is something to be seen, and when not behind the decks he's in front of them in the crowd. Finally, people say he's a top bloke, which is nice.

4x4 DNB, Footwork and UK Bass

Following the likes of Mandidextrous, Secula, Buunshin, Imanu, Notequal and Kanine, Staccatissimo concentrates on the fusion of tech-led 4x4 with neurofunk drum & bass.

In recent years, this subgenre of dnb has become popular through standout tracks such as Sub Focus' "Timewarp VIP", Dimensions "UK" and Imanu's "Come Forward". RAM Records' recent signing of Mandidextrous, known for their fusion of hardtek and dnb is evident of increasing awareness in this style.

For dnb heads appreciating the slower style, Staccatissimo also covers the jungle/footwork hybrid championed by the likes of Fracture, 6blocc, Sherelle and Phace.
