i've been playing music and making noise and sound since 1981. i started with electric bass, feedback, and effects pedals, then added analog synthesizer, percussion, and computers with software synthesis and effects. i perform live in various modes, solo, and in collaborations. my interests range from ambient to downtempo, noise, and soundscapes.

This page features a recent series of jams from TCCP, (a placeholder name consisting of the first initials of participants first names), jams and unreleased albums from SPACEBRANE, a core duo project featuring Crystal Awareness and myself; THE PRAIRIE PROJECT, featuring Tim Gennert, Timmin Murray and Wain Hewlett and myself along with occasional others; and GAMMA QUADRANT featuring Yarrow Mahko, Justin Beck, Kirana Peyton and myself along with an endless assortment of sitters in... plus some SOLO MATERIAL of mine from the 80s up to the present. 
 
I Ama visual artist, not a musician - my love of electronic music goes back to the 1950s where it appeared in certain fi movie soundtracks like Forbidden Planet, then in the sixties there was Carlos' Switched On Bach and Subotnik's Silver Apples of The Moon - by the time I heard Tangerine Dream and Klaus Schulze and Jarre and others in the 1970s I decided to try my hand at doing electronic soundscapes.
