Uli Nicholas' Biography:

With 23 years of dedication to composition, Ulisses Nicolau Alberto Barros — who performs artistically as Uli Nicholas — is a multi-instrumentalist and lyricist who bridges musical tradition and technological innovation.

His foundation is solid and guided by prominent names in the musical scene. Uli studied Classical Music for two years at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) and was a student, for three years, of the renowned Maestro Joca Costa. On the piano, he honed his technique and sensitivity with pianists and teachers Leandro Rocha and Liana Monteiro. Beyond the keys (piano and synthesizers), Uli also masters the acoustic and electric guitar.

Uli's technical rigor extends to musical writing, utilizing notation software to structure his compositions with precision. His intellectual curiosity also led him to study Physics for three years at UFRN, lending a unique analytical perspective to his creative process. Today, he expands these boundaries by integrating the use of VSTi and Artificial Intelligence into his productions and compositions. Actually Uli Nicholas works on it with the famous music producer Rogério Vieira, a great friend of his and partner in Music.

With an authored catalog of 25 songs, Uli navigates through the most diverse musical styles, yet is always guided by a common thread: the purpose of transmitting positive messages. His works reflect elevated values and a deep spiritual connection, featuring lyrics that primarily refer to God.

Currently, Uli Nicholas is consolidating his sonic identity on digital platforms (formerly as Uli Virtual Band), presenting an authentic fusion of his classical heritage with the future of music.
