Where Did It All Go Wrong?

While I was composing my F-sharp minor Fantasy, I found myself stuck on a particular middle section, struggling to find the right variation to complete the piece. Eventually, I succeeded, but before that happened, I wrote numerous segments that didn’t quite fit into the piece.

Fortunately, some of these discarded variations began to resonate with each other, leading to the creation of smaller pieces that I grew very fond of. The first of these became my Prelude in F-sharp Minor, and the second, the Moment Musicaux in A Major.

These two compositions share some motivic figures down to the note, yet in feeling and meaning, they couldn’t be more different. Despite the brief scope of the Moment Musicaux in question, I believe there is much to discover within it, with every new small section providing something unique and unexpected.

"Lingering Light in Winter’s Embrace" is a chamber composition for eight instruments, deeply rooted in the expressive tradition of the Russian musical school, profoundly inspired by the legacies of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky and Georgy Sviridov. The piece seeks to capture the ephemeral beauty of memory, weaving an atmosphere of tender melancholy and quiet contemplation, as if illuminated by the delicate glow of a winter landscape.

At its heart lies the theme of nostalgia — a longing for moments lost, expressed through a lyrical dialogue between the strings (first and second violins, viola, cello, and double bass) and the poignant timbre of the winds (flute, oboe, and clarinet). The strings evoke heartfelt emotions, whispering tales of cherished recollections, while the winds add a breath of airy lightness and a subtle shimmer of hope. The double bass provides a resonant foundation, grounding the composition in the timeless embrace of the natural world.

This work transcends a specific narrative, instead inviting listeners on an emotional journey — a meditation on the fleeting nature of time, the enduring power of the human spirit, and the universal search for harmony. I've been working in several songs. Putting a big effort, I'm gonna do the continuations of some of songs I've published in the near past, like Thornless Roses Suite, Crystal Sky Suite and some Piano tracks, like Back Home. Here and there, I'll be posting new Pop songs too. I just need to focus on the continuations of old projects. From the Pop, next song which is already done, it will be a Heavy Metal/Hard Rock song. Just to vary a little bit and don't be so focused in the Love things! Haha.

Today, me and my friend Cool Happy Cissa (@coolhapoy in Suno.com) are releasing a song that is a collab about the Writer's Block. It is a non-medical condition, primarily associated with writing, in which an author is either unable to produce new work or experiences a creative slowdown. Resuming: you got stopped to make new content. It happens with composers, lyricists, singer-songwritters, youtubers, etc. But, we are here to put a stop on this bad dude! :) Hope you guys like it!

Also, I'm working in instrumental compositions, mostly Jazz and Classical Music. Coming soon hardcore stuff in 5/4!!! :D
