that I submitted to the 2025 NPR Tiny Desk Contest.
This was a bit of an experiment. The audio was recorded using an iPhone 16 and then I used the Logic Pro stem spitter to separate the vocals and guitar so I could mix each track separately.
I still intend to have one more go at recording this using a better mic set up.

Live Recording Album - Soundgarden Project There have been many artists or creators from all spheres experimenting with all kinds of resources that life itself makes ready available to us. Finding the right balance of formulas for results that have a functional purpose is most often nothing more than an Enigma. Here Ullip & Craven with the Sound Garden project are experimenting in the moment, not only with what nature provides, it goes deeper using energies through coulours , light, feelings and emotions that rise from deep in the soul. A kind of synesthetic existance and state of mind transmitted from person to person. Music is just another language which is able to transmit where words fail. It is a different kind of Science where musicians are experimenting in constant search of new formulas for ways to capture the emotions of audiences. The Sound Garden project is a more natural approach with an in the moment instant improvisation technique which takes the listener on a sound journey. Not, and this marks its artistic profile, not additively, "side by side". Ullip combines these functions in order to let a new something emerge from them. CDs whose tracks do not preserve and reproduce "played music" as is usually the case. But CDs where the music is created by editing, mixing and recording it "on the fly". The CD as an audience, so to speak. With the great advantage that - in contrast to live sessions - one can enjoy the cuts of the CDs over and over again.
Based on a rich musical experience and an almost "wild" past, Ullip - together with other musicians - has today found a style that activates and inspires a special genre:

'Chained music'.

Sounds and pieces, music and rhythms that are played in a self-inspiring way or created on technical devices. Born in the moment, just like jazz. Also, not only as in jazz, given as a theme, otherwise improvised. Above all, they are not reproductions in the sense of notated notes. All the elements that stand between the first beat and sound of a live gig, a studio recording and the final burning process on a CD are interlinked to create what the "piece" recorded on silver discs ultimately is.
