(Undertale REMIX) "Your Last Dream" ('Hopes And Dreams,' 'His Theme')

This is the first time I've covered/remixed/whatevered something in a long while and, notably, it's the only instance in which I've been proud of the result.  This particular piece is a remix of the stage theme of Pangu Lagoon.  It takes the melodic elements of both versions of the track and brings them to what I imagined as a third "act" in that particular level.

The vast majority of this track was completed over a sleepless night, with an additional week or so spent on listening to it and fine-tuning it.  In spite of (or perhaps because of) the fact that I didn't create the melody for this one, I found myself getting strangely creative, trying more "complete" rhythms than I usually do for drum loops, adding in a staccato guitar to complete the movement of the chorus, layering my lead synth, and just generally polishing the piece, in ways I normally don't, as if it was second nature.  Maybe I oughta' cover stuff more often.

(If you haven't played Freedom Planet and you like action-packed platformers, I'd really recommend you give it a go, it's excellent!)

Freedom Planet 2 - Dragon Valley

Well, here is the first track started for the Sonic CD 2 collaboration. The one that @leila-wilson-woofle, @raphaelgoulart, and I have been slowly working on.

Lunar Light Zone in the past, has a strange mix of city life from the 40's, 70's, and 80's. You might find hints of various jazz tunes from all these eras that help to capture the city night feel.

I plan to make an enhanced and extended version of this in the future. And possibly convert it over to play on Sega CD PCM which is how it should be! :P

Lunar Light Zone Past V1

Was suddenly urged to make this when I saw the arrangement of Dragon Valley for the newly announced Freedom Planet 2.

I've been a bit of a sucker for vibraphone jazz as of late, and I wanted to combine that with an experiment as to how 'major' - or failing that, simply happy - I ended up coming up with a lot of interesting ideas that I'm overall pleasantly surprised with. I hope you guys like it!

Tim Maia, THE Brazilian Funk Soul Godfather was the real thing. At the height of his mid-70s success he joined the Cult of Racional Energy; watching for spaceships while wearing only white clothes and playing only white instruments! Yet the two albums he recorded for the Cult are among his best. His songs search for love, and they dig into the existential. His own lyrics say it best: “I am so groovy now and I don’t care!”

So yeah, if I had the master tracks, I would've done some cool stuff so the vocals wouldn't be overlapping like they are.

Justifying shittiness aside, though, I'm really happy that so many of you like it anyway!  If someone wants to try their hand at remaking it better, be my guest, I'll probably listen and enjoy it.  Cheers, Internet!
